BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Agenda:

1. Motion regarding the Board taking a position

3. Activities of the past few days relating to the proposed Amended LOA
4. E-mail sent out by a Board member

Motion: Bobo: To recommend a "yes" vote on the proposed Amended LOA
Motion seconded.

In favor: Bobo
Opposed: Winslow, McTeague, Embry, Rosenthal, Hiscocks
Abstained: Lambert

Motion: McTeague: To recommend a "no" vote on the proposed Amended LOA Motion seconded.

In favor: Winslow, McTeague, Embry, Rosenthal, Hiscocks
Opposed: Bobo
Abstained: Lambert

Motion: McTeague: That the Board file an Unfair Employee Relations Practice claim against the CAO who, by proposing to permanently freeze the health care subsidy unless members agree to pay an additional 4% contribution to LACERS, is unlawflully attempting to threaten, coerce and intimidate membersin the exercise of their collective bargaining rights. Motion Seconded.
In favor: Winslow, McTeague, Embry, Bobo, Rosenthal, Hiscocks, Lambert
Opposed: None

Issue relating to an e-mail sent out by a Board member was tabled until the next meeting.
